Jacobethan

Theatre Workshop

The Jacobethan Theatre Workshop’s mission is to explore works by playwrights and theater artists of English Renaissance period from the mid-16th century to early-17th century under the reigns of Elizabeth I and James I of England.

We are interested in investigating past and current practices in staging and education, and bringing relevance to the major and lesser known playwrights of the era.

While Shakespeare is a focal point, we wish to highlight the works of Marlowe, Middleton, Fletcher and other influential practitioners of the time.

We are proudly co-produced by The Drilling Company NYC.

For our second season of ‘Shakespeare in the Park(ing Lot), we are thrilled to produce Macbeth and As You Like It. The productions will be played in repertoire by the same company on alternating nights, hosted and presented by the Arlene Francis Center, Santa Rosa CA.
